Waters Photography Announcement - October 21, 2011
Due to the difficulty of trying to juggle our personal lives, our professional lives, and our photography, we have decided to close out all remaining availability for 2011 and 2012. Starting in 2013, we will be limiting ourselves to 7 weddings per year. This decision was not easy for us. We really do have a passion for Wedding Photography, but at the same time, it is getting harder and harder to drop our young son off at a sitter 20+ times per year, and then spend countless weekday evening hours processing photos rather than spending time with him. It came to a point where we decided photography either had to be our full time business, or we had to limit it. We feel that limiting our photography is the best decision for us and our clients. Now we will have more time to focus on each Bride and Groom and processing their pictures, rather than rushing in our free time to get pictures out the door. This will also allow for more time to expand into portrait photography which we have been experimenting with. Perhaps in the future we will reverse our decision, but only time will tell.
To our current Brides and Grooms, please know that this will not affect you at all. We will still be at your wedding. This decision only affects future bookings.
